Carrier is seeking a reliable Truck Driver (CDL-A) in Indianapolis to transport materials, parts, and merchandise to local locations using approved routes. You will drive various vehicle types, load/unload materials, and perform routine safety checks to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of CDL-A driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Valid DOT card.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain MVR that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely move empty and loaded trailers between docks, parking spots, and staging areas using a yard truck/hostler.
• Load and unload trucks as required using material handling equipment available.
• Perform minor maintenance operations on vehicle to ensure proper operation.
• Perform daily pre-trip truck inspections to check fluid levels, battery level, tire pressure, lights, and signals and maintain vehicle appearance.
• Update yard management systems, log moves, or scan trailer numbers for tracking.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
• Follow all site safety rules and training documents.
• Report all chemical spills and environmental concerns to supervisor.
