SpartanNash is seeking a truck driver to safely operate a Class A vehicle in the transportation yard and deliver to local customers. You will verify loads, assist with unloading, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining DOT compliance and safety at all times.

Responsibilities include yard operations, trailer checks, and coordinating with dispatch for efficient routing. A valid CDL A and 1 year of experience are required, with availability for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL A driving experience.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug test required.
• Able to work up to 60 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication, organizational, and safety-focused skills.

Responsabilités

• Safely drive commercial truck within the transportation yard and deliver to local customers.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and fuel station area; position tractors/trailers correctly.
• Perform trailer checks, secure loads and obtain delivery confirmations.
• Drive to unload/load, assist with unloading, and complete required paperwork.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for routine maintenance and report issues.
