Job summary

ABF Freight in Fayetteville, AR is hiring for an hourly, full-time dock associate. You will pickup and deliver cargo, load/unload, and operate forklifts as needed, with schedule varying by terminal location.

Responsibilities include completing routine paperwork, inspecting trailers, and coordinating with terminal operations to meet safety and efficiency goals. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and a Class-A CDL with required endorsements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience or training eligibility.
• CDL Class A with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements, no automatic restriction.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork effectively and log loading sheets.
• Exercise independent judgment regarding building/tearing down trailers to use time and energy efficiently while complying with weight laws.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Perform tasks from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor setup, to pickup and delivery of cargo.
• Other duties, as assigned.
