Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) to join our team. You will deliver products with 10-12 stops per day, handle paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement (within 60 days), and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be proficient in reading and writing English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last ten years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered and picked up products.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals.
• Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.
