Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) on a 1st shift to join our logistics team.

You will deliver products to customers, handling about 10–12 stops per day, with accurate paperwork and outstanding customer service. Required: high school diploma or GED, two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification, a valid CDL A or B (hazmat endorsement within 60 days), age 21+, no major violations in 2 years, ability to pass a DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Valid CDL A or B; Hazmat endorsement preferred or within 60 days.
• Must be 21 or older and pass DOT physical.
• No major violations in past two years; no alcohol-related convictions in ten years.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day and complete paperwork.
• Count and record quantities accurately.
• Prepare and submit hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify maintenance needs and report them.
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals.
