Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a licensed CDL driver in California to deliver products across routes, ensuring safety, accuracy, and excellent customer service. The role requires hazmat endorsement or renewal within the initial 60 days, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities include daily stop deliveries, DOT paperwork, vehicle inspections, and ongoing collaboration with customers and internal teams to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficient reading and writing in English.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow.
