Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to support its foodservice distribution network. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, deliver food and related products to customers, and ensure on-time, safe handoffs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass drug and Background checks.
• DOT Health Card and ability to obtain/maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.
• Drives tractor-trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations and company safety rules.
• Performs required pre/post trip inspections and reports safety issues.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers on schedule; obtains signatures.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and logs; secures load and trailer.
• Performs housekeeping duties and adheres to safety guidelines.
