Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering food and related products to customers on intrastate and interstate routes, with a focus on safe, timely delivery and strong customer relationships.

This role includes overnight and local trips, hands-on loading/unloading, and strict adherence to DOT regulations. The position offers home-daily routes, competitive pay with potential for over $80,000 annually, comprehensive benefits starting

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight between 10-90 lbs, up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.

Aufgaben

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Performs safety checks, inspections, and DOT-compliant procedures.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on local and OTR routes to deliver food products.
• Unloads products and ensures correct delivery and paperwork.
• Inspects loads and secures freight; obtains customer signatures.
• Performs daily hours-of-service logs and maintains trailers and dock area.
