Job summary

Schneider Intermodal is hiring drivers in Illinois to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. This 100% no-touch operation is 50% drop-and-hook, with shifts at night, and operates in IL, IN and WI.

Earn hourly pay plus load pay, with a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation and PTO after 6 months. Eligible drivers receive medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match and other military benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Drivers on this account operate at night.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Elwood, IL.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• No-touch freight; 50% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN and WI.
