Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for intermodal routes in the Midwest. You will haul containers secured to company-owned chassis on 100% no-touch freight, with about half of trips being drop-and-hook.

Expect night driving and yard transitions in IL, IN, MI and WI. The role offers a sign-on bonus paid over the first year, along with orientation, PTO after six months, a longevity bonus, and a competitive annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate 100% no-touch freight with 50% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI and WI.
