Job summary

Schneider National in Naperville, IL is seeking Intermodal drivers to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. Expect 100% no-touch freight with 50% drop-and-hook across IL, IN and WI, operating within a 50-mile radius of Elwood, IL. Extensive support and modern equipment accompany this role.

Of note, the position offers hourly pay with load pay, a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months in the first year, paid orientation, and paid time off after 6 months plus 6 holiday days per year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Elwood, IL.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 100% no-touch freight with 50% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards in IL, IN and WI.
