Qualdoc in Allentown, PA seeks a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Operator to support field operations across multiple job sites. The role involves transporting equipment, operating construction machinery, and performing general field labor with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with heavy equipment, be capable of long hours, and respond to emergency assignments. Per diem and travel pay may apply, and full-time benefits are provided.

Competenze

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record.
• Experience in construction, heavy equipment operation, or physically demanding labor.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform hands-on field work.
• Willingness to complete safety training and tests.
• Available for 24/7 on-call shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.

Mansioni

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites using tractor-trailers.
• Inspect loads and verify overweight/oversize permits.
• Participate in safety briefings and review daily work plans.
• Load, unload, stage, and secure equipment at job sites.
• Assist with cranes and other heavy machinery operations.
• Operate cranes, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, and skid steers.
• Assist with rigging, lifting, and material-handling operations.
• Use hydraulic tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches as needed.
• Monitor equipment condition and perform basic maintenance.
• Report major issues to Shop Manager or Foreman.
• Dismantle, load, and secure equipment after assignments.
• Restock vehicles, organize supplies, and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide general labor support across departments and follow safety procedures.
