FedEx Freight is seeking a CDL A driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure freight, and assist with paperwork while following DOT and company policies.

This role requires hazmat/tank endorsements and a valid MVR. Expect a starting hourly wage of $32.20 in Pennsylvania, with potential for varied routes and schedule based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
• One year of driving experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR and meet DOT regulations.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, doubles/triples where applicable and straight trucks.
• Perform daily pre-trip/safety inspections and secure freight.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers for pick-up/delivery needs.
• Assist with billing, documentation and compliant DOT procedures.
• Follow safety policies and contribute to sales by identifying new opportunities.
