Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a CDL A Driver for Drop & Hook operations in Midlothian, TX. This role focuses on safe pickup, transport, and delivery of tires, with strict compliance to DOT/FMCSA requirements and company policies.

The driver will manage daily transportation activities, perform required inspections, document accurately, and maintain professional interactions with customers and dispatch teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to safely operate Class A equipment and perform drop & hook operations.
• Strong focus on safety, accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication with dispatch, customers and coworkers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires from customer locations to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or disposal sites.
• Perform drop & hook trailer operations; exchange loaded and empty trailers at locations.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; file DVIRs and report issues.
• Complete DOT logs, bills of lading, manifests, and paperwork accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational equipment at all times.
• Navigate routes using maps, GPS, and dispatch instructions.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, dispatch, and teams.
• Follow Liberty Tire Recycling safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with yard moves and trailer positioning as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support waste tire removal operations.
