Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for drop and hook operations. You will safely transport tires, handle loading/unloading, and maintain logs and paperwork while following DOT safety standards.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of trucking experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and FMCSA qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• MVR must meet DOT standards.
• Age 22 or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or approved sites.
• Perform drop and hook operations, exchanging loaded/empty trailers.
• Ensure loads comply with DOT safety requirements.
• Complete DVIRs and required paperwork and reports.
• Maintain clean and safe equipment and respond to safety concerns.
