Liberty Tire Recycling is hiring a CDL A Driver – Drop & Hook in Baytown, TX. The role requires safe handling of tires, performing drop & hook operations, and ensuring loads meet DOT safety standards.

You will complete all required paperwork and maintain professional interactions with customers and dispatch. The position emphasizes strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company policies, with on-site operation and routine outdoor conditions.

Qualificações

• Valid Class A CDL and FMCSA qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Able to safely operate drop & hook equipment and load securement.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Clear, professional communication with dispatch and customers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Safely remove and transport tires from customer locations to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or approved sites.
• Perform drop and hook trailer operations and exchange loaded/empty trailers at locations and yards.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety requirements before transport.
• Complete pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip inspections and DVIRs; report safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs, bills of lading, manifests, and paperwork required by company or customers.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatch, and internal teams.
• Follow safety policies, environmental standards, and operating procedures.
