Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Marion, KY seeks a CDL A Drop & Hook Driver to safely pickup, transport, and deliver tires using drop-and-hook operations. This full-time role requires adherence to DOT/FMCSA safety standards and accurate paperwork.

You will navigate routes with dispatch guidance, maintain equipment, and interact professionally with customers and yard staff. Minimum 1 year driving experience, valid CDL A, and clean MVR are required; competitive compensation is paid per mile.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 22 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A and FMCSA qualifications.
• 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record in compliance with DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires from customer locations to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or disposal sites.
• Perform drop and hook trailer operations, exchanging loaded and empty trailers at locations.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety requirements.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; report safety concerns.
• Accurately complete DOT logs, bills of lading, manifests, and paperwork.
