Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Class A CDL Route Driver based in Midlothian, TX. You will safely pick up and deliver used tires along assigned routes, working with a Route Helper to load and stack tires, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

The role requires physical labor, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong teamwork and communication with dispatch and customers. Regular full-time hours with first and second shift opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience operating Class A vehicles on route-based collection.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work as part of a two-person team with a Route Helper to manually load, stack, and secure tires onto the truck.
• Manually handle and stack waste tires weighing up to 50 pounds each throughout the workday.
• Serve as the primary point of contact at customer locations, including obtaining signatures and completing required service documentation.
• Ensure loads are properly stacked and secured, compliant with DOT safety requirements before transport.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; complete DVIRs and report concerns.
• Accurately complete DOT logs, route paperwork, bills of lading, and documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational equipment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, route helpers, and operations staff about route status.
• Navigate routes using maps, GPS, and dispatch instructions considering traffic and conditions.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, tire stores, dispatch, and internal teams.
• Follow all Liberty Tire Recycling safety policies and procedures.
