Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years old or older.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• FMCSA/DOT compliance knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record per DOT standards.
• Proficient in performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailers between customer locations and Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or disposal sites.
• Perform drop and hook operations, exchanging loaded and empty trailers at customer locations and yards.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety requirements.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; file DVIRs and report safety concerns.
• Accurately complete DOT logs, bills of lading, manifests, and related paperwork.
• Collect payments from cash-only customers when required per cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational equipment; follow dispatch instructions and routes.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers, dispatch, and internal teams.
