Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Baytown, TX is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Drop & Hook to safely pick up and deliver tires using drop and hook operations. You will work with dispatch to navigate routes, complete required documentation, and maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Liberty Tire policies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet DOT standards.
• Minimum age 22 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires from customer locations to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or approved disposal sites.
• Perform drop and hook trailer operations, exchanging loaded and empty trailers at locations.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT safety requirements prior to transport.
• Complete DVIRs, logs, bills of lading, and paperwork accurately.
• Assist with yard moves, trailer positioning, and related tasks as needed.
