Performance Foodservice (PFS NATCO) in Reserve, LA seeks an entry level Driver Trainee to learn tractor trailer/straight truck routes, ensuring safe deliveries and adherence to DOT standards. Training includes rides with a driver trainer, pre/post-trip checks, and on-the-road experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• CDL A required (permit acceptable during training)
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee/Dock to Driver Training.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries as directed.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections per DOT rules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Drive to deliver customer orders per route schedule.
• Unload products, verify deliveries, collect signatures and payments as required.
• Secure loads and keep equipment and trailers clean and safe.
• Record hours of service daily per regulations.
