Job summary

McLane is seeking a Trainee Component Driver in Minnesota to begin a paid training program and grow into a full Driver role. You’ll learn to maneuver, inspect, document deliveries, and operate the Driver Delivery Handheld while ensuring on-time customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Read and comprehend labels and bills of lading.
• Communicate with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Learn every aspect of the driver role alongside experienced trainers.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain logs and document deliveries accurately.
• Assist unloading and ensuring on-time, undamaged product delivery.
• Provide customer service and handle returns and credits.
