Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities.
• Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.
• Safely drive a tractor-trailer, use a dolly, ramp, and onboard devices.
• Read, write, and understand English sufficiently for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Document delivery receipts and product temperatures; ensure secure transport.
• Ride with Driver Trainer to learn regulations and driving skills.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product.
• Provide customer service with on-time delivery and accurate credits.
• Other duties as assigned.
