McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Trainee Component Driver in Minnesota. The role trains to become a full driver, focusing on safe, on-time distribution to customer locations while gaining exposure to warehouse operations.

During training, pay is $26.50 per hour with benefits starting Day 1; after training, drivers typically earn $70,000 to $90,000 annually. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available for CDLA with minimal miles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product.
• Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.
• Safely drive a tractor-trailer and operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Attach trailer, document deliveries, and verify product temperatures.
• Maintain driver logs and complete DOT reports.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer locations.
• Provide good customer service and issue valid credits.
• Participate in training with Driver Trainer and gain regulatory knowledge.
