Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Driver, Trainee Non-CDL to join our team for entry level driver training and progression to full CDL driving. You will learn hauling freight and operating tractor trailers while supporting deliveries and routes, with a focus on customer interactions and safety.

The role offers PAID training to become a licensed CDL A Driver, local home daily delivery, and a 4-day work week with opportunity for overtime and growth within a essential food distribution operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–6 months driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet DOT Health Card requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move freight of varying size and weight.

Responsibilities

• Complete Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspect tractor/truck and trailer.
• Report safety issues and follow DOT safety guidelines and company policies.
• Deliver orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule and unload at customer sites.
