Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company, is seeking an entry level Driver Trainee (Non-CDL) to learn hauling freight and support driver trainers during deliveries. You will build professional relationships with customers and gain hands-on experience in a growing food distribution role.

This position offers paid training to obtain a CDL, a pay rate of $20 per hour, and a four-day schedule (Sunday night through Thursday night).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 0-6 months driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist the driver trainer with deliveries and routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Deliver orders according to predetermined route schedule.
• Complete paperwork and log hours per company and DOT requirements.
