Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring for a Driver Trainee Non-CDL to learn hauling freight and assist driver trainers. You will interact with customers and co-workers, ensuring timely, accurate service while supporting routes and deliveries.

The role conducts safety checks, drives to customer sites, unloads goods, and completes required paperwork in line with DOT and company policies. 21+ and DOT Health Card are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 0-6 months driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections per DOT.
• Report safety issues and repairs; follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route schedule.
