Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is part of a Fortune 150 company that supports America's food distribution system. As a Driver, Trainee Non-CDL you will learn loading, delivery routes, and customer service while working with trainer drivers to gain experience and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, on-time deliveries, paperwork, and unloading freight; you will help ensure products reach customers in good condition and build strong relationships with store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–6 months driving experience; 21+ years old; valid DOT Health Card where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Able to lift 60–90 pounds and operate equipment to move freight.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist driver trainer with deliveries and routes.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT and company standards.
• Deliver customer orders on time and obtain customer signatures.
• Unload and stage freight, handle returns per policy.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and log hours of service daily.
