McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Trainee Component Driver to learn essential driving functions and support distribution to customer locations. You will work closely with a Driver Trainer to gain knowledge of tractor-trailer operations, safety standards, and DOT-compliant procedures across multiple routes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible per policy.
• Ability to read labels, perform basic math, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Move tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment for defects and report findings.
• Use DDH to document deliveries and monitor product temps.
• Assist unloading and delivering products to customer sites.
• Provide on-time delivery and courteous customer service.
