McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Driver, Trainee Component in Ohio to learn the essential functions of a driver role while gaining exposure to warehouse operations. The program trains you from the ground up, focusing on safe driving, accurate distribution, and customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, documenting deliveries, and maintaining logs. This full-time role offers day-one benefits and opportunities for growth within a nationwide distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to verify quantities.

Responsabilités

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Record deliveries with Driver Delivery Handheld and monitor product temperatures.
• Ride with Driver Trainer to learn regulations and driving skills.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations and document receipts.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer premises.
• Provide on-time, undamaged product delivery and handle returns and credits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
