Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution is hiring an entry level Driver Trainee in Lebanon, TN. You will learn to drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on local routes, working under a trainer to deliver food products safely and efficiently.

The role includes safety inspections, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time deliveries. CDL license and a clean MVR plus post-offer drug and road tests are required. Uniforms provided and driver-friendly equipment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL license—must be valid.
• DOT Health Card valid or in process.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete entry level driver trainee or dock-to-driver training as required.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist with deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedule.
• Unload freight, obtain signatures, and handle payments where required.
• Ensure vehicle and freight are secured and clean; complete daily hours of service logs.
