Job summary

PFG Customized Distribution is hiring a delivery driver to serve customers in the Lebanon, TN area. The role involves operating tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring timely delivery of food products to customers.

Routes include overnight and weekend schedules with varying dispatch times. The position requires a CDL-A, DOT compliance, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience is required.
• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years; pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Pass road test and obtain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers to answer questions accurately and timely.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects tractor/trailer for safety compliance.
• Reports safety issues and required repairs; follows DOT and company safety guidelines.
• Delivers orders on scheduled routes, unloads products and obtains customer signatures.
• Maintains paperwork accuracy and completes required freight documentation.
• Ensures equipment and freight are secured at all times and adheres to safety procedures.
