Performance Food Group is hosting an onsite Hiring Event in Lebanon, TN for an entry level Driver Trainee role. CDL A license is required and the schedule includes overnight and local routes.

Pay is $25 per hour with uniforms provided and driver-friendly equipment to support safety and efficiency. This role starts with training, rides with a driver trainer, and progress toward delivering and unloading products to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 0–6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL License.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current/valid.
• Able to lift and move freight using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training.
• Ride with driver trainer and assist deliveries.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver orders on route and verify with customers.
• Unload and secure freight; obtain signatures and collect payment as needed.
• Maintain vehicle security and paperwork; complete daily hours of service logs.
• Keep equipment and loading areas clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
