Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking new CDL graduates for OTR truck driving. You will train with a mentor for 120 hours, then go solo in your own assigned truck, earning full pay while gaining miles across eastern routes.

Expect a structured progression from trainee to solo driver, with weekly miles designed to maximize earnings and a clear path to higher pay after the training period. Benefits follow after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, age 21 or older.
• New CDL grad (120+ hours) or verifiable driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• OTR lanes across everything east of Denver, loads mix drop-and-hook, live load, live unload and preloads.
• Freight is planned ahead and dispatched day and night.
• Training starts with 120 hours from CDL school, then solo with full pay in a standard truck.

The numbers

• $1,200 to $1,800 a week, about $62,400 to $93,600 a year
• 1,800 to 2,900 miles a week
• Mileage pay plus stop pay
• Paid every week by direct deposit
• Home every two weeks

The training

120 hours from CDL school gets you in. You train one-on-one with an experienced mentor and get paid for it. When you finish, you go solo at full pay in your own assigned truck, an automatic or 10-speed about 1.5 years old.
