Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (A) to deliver and remove large containers across assigned routes. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and regulations, complete daily Vehicle Condition Reports, and support efficient, courteous service to customers.

The role requires a Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement and experience driving commercial trucks. You will follow safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Possesses a Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrates safety-focused work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated routes to service customers.
• Load/unload waste containers and operate the compactor as required.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and team members.
• Perform minor container repairs and report issues promptly.
• Tag unsatisfactory containers and monitor waste quality.
• Maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime and complete required reports.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
