FedEx Freight is seeking a licensed Class A CDL driver to pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers, supporting the selling process. Responsibilities include operating various tractor-trailer configurations, conducting daily inspections, securing loads, complying with DOT regulations, and collaborating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and customer service.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to work flexible hours

Qualificações

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat, and tank endorsements.
• 1 year experience in last 3 years or completion of FedEx Driver Development Course.
• Clean MVR per hiring standards.
• DOT regulations compliance under FMC 391.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Sit, bend, twist, climb in/out of truck.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer and/or straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and dollies.
• Handle freight with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight with pallets, straps, and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Comply with hazardous materials procedures.
• May perform road driver or dock duties as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers about pickups and deliveries.
• Solicit additional business leads for sales.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Hours may vary.
