Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor, seeks a CDL-A Delivery Driver in New Jersey. You will drive a tractor/trailer or straight truck to deliver food and related products to customers, ensuring on-time arrivals and safe handling.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip safety checks, DOT compliance, loading/unloading, collecting signatures and payments where applicable, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CDL-A license with valid DOT Health Card.
• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and pass post-offer drug test.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver orders on schedule.
• Unloads and places goods at customer locations, ensures secure handling.
• Complete required paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
• Maintain clean equipment and comply with company policies.
