Performance Foodservice is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers to support our New Jersey routes. The role involves overnight and early-morning dispatch, delivering foodservice products to a variety of customers, including restaurants and institutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license and clean driving record required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card required or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, OTR, shuttle, and overnight deliveries.
• Unload products at customer locations and obtain proper signatures for deliveries.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and log hours of service per federal and company requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers; ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
