Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in California is hiring new CDL drivers who want to start earning from day one. Trainees are paid during on-road training and come home every two weeks.

You’ll earn $800 a week during training and up to $1,000 a week guaranteed for the first 3 months after training. After solo, you’ll typically haul 1,900–2,100 miles per week across the Western states, with pay ranging from $1,200 to $1,400 weekly.

Qualifications

• New CDL drivers: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
• No DUI/DWI in past 5–10 years

• Operate temperature-controlled freight across CA, NV, OR, WA, ID and UT
• Day and night dispatches, some weekends and holidays
• Home every 2 weeks; riders and pets welcome after training

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• New drivers: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
