Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL or CDL learner permit (CLP).
• Must meet MVR standards and DOT regulation requirements.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to hook up and break down trailer sets with physical effort.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and inter-trip safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and required documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and report delays or issues.
• Comply with hazmat regulations and placarding as required.
• Perform freight handling and dock duties when needed.
• Drive long distances day and night across weather conditions.
