Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver. You will inspect vehicles, manage logs, load and unload products, and deliver to customer sites with a focus on safety and compliance. Routes typically run Tuesday through Saturday with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at job level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination and apply knowledge of regulations.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, document delivery receipt and temperatures.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
