Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating requirements.
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer before and after trips; submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy on/off-hour deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying CDL regulations and vehicle handling skills.
• Maintain driver log per DOT rules, documenting delivery receipts and product temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
