Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to safely operate tractor-trailers and deliver goods to customers across the network. You will be responsible for pre/post-trip inspections and keeping accurate delivery records.

You will maintain logs, comply with DOT regulations, and perform inspections while representing the company professionally on every route. Competitive pay and day-one benefits are included, with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and temperatures.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
