Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move products across our nationwide network, with competitive pay and strong client relationships. You'll perform vehicle inspections, document logs, and safely deliver to customer premises, staying compliant with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience.
• English reading/writing ability required.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
