US Foods in Allentown, PA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to safely deliver restaurant and foodservice products. You’ll navigate highways and docks, unload with care, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate records.

The role starts with training pay at $38.11 per hour with component pay lifting earnings toward about $41.31 per hour after training. A $5,000 retention bonus is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3 months in food/bev delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Deliver products to customers timely and safely.
• Unloading: Unload using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, touch freight.
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
