Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. You will safely drive routes, unload 100% touch freight, verify deliveries with customers, and provide professional service that strengthens customer trust.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and at least 6 months of driving experience. Training pays $38.11/hour, with potential to reach about $41.31/hour after training, and a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Registration to FMCSA Clearinghouse is required by DOT. All drivers must register.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely to deliver products to customers.
• Unload products using appropriate equipment; 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service during delivery.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
