Job summary

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Champlain, NY. You will start with training at $35/hour with daily overtime after 8 hours, then progress to $38.80/hour plus overtime. Typical schedule is Monday-Saturday with a 4 or 5 day work week; start time around 3am-6am.

Benefits begin Day One and a $15,000 retention bonus may apply. You will safely navigate highways and docks, unload through 100% touch freight, verify deliveries, and provide professional service to customers while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience or 3 months in food/bev delivery.
• English proficiency for reports and signatures.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving and timely deliveries.
• Unload products with appropriate equipment.
• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with accounts receivable when applicable.
• Adapt to schedule changes and routes.
