Job summary

US Foods in Lexington, SC is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver. You will safely navigate highways and city streets, unload at customer sites, verify deliveries, and deliver exceptional service. This role requires compliance with DOT regs, good driving record, and ability to operate manual transmission where required.

Training starts at $20.54/hr with potential earnings after training up to $52.64/hr. Eligible drivers receive benefits from day one, plus the possibility of a $5,000 retention bonus

Qualifications

Must have CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
Must read/communicate in English and be able to use reports/records.

Responsibilities

Safe driving and timely product delivery.
Unload using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
Provide professional customer service to enhance experience.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
Assist with accounts receivable/payments when applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
