Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Driver in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area to deliver foodservice products. This role features an initial guaranteed training pay of $1,500 per week, with a transition to a typical earnings level around $100,000 annually after training, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for candidates with at least one year of experience.

Expect overnight routes, hotel layovers, and a strong emphasis on safety, DOT compliance, and accurate delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• CDL-A license required.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift and move freight 10–90 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with customers and coworkers professionally and promptly.
• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured and paperwork is legible.
• Drive to customer sites and deliver orders per route schedule.
• Unload products and assist customers with placement of items.
• Verify deliveries and obtain signatures.
• Complete daily hours of service logs as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work area in yard and dock.
