Freight operates west of the Mississippi, and normal runs are generally no longer than about three days. Drivers are home every two weeks and may choose to run outside the normal region when opportunities allow.
Paid road training lasts approximately 3-5 weeks and includes 200-250 behind-the-wheel hours. California trainee pay is $850 weekly. Orientation takes no more than two days and pays $300 upon hire.
